The Patricia H. Ladew Foundation, Inc. is an all cat shelter and sanctuary in Oyster Bay, New York which houses more than a hundred cats rescued from municipal shelters in New York City and Long Island in a house purchased in 1975 by cat lover and philanthropist Patricia H. Ladew for the purpose of sheltering homeless cats in a home-like, environment. In this video, All For Animals TV host Susan Richard gets the scoop on this amazing organization from Executive Director Susan Whittred, DVM, including the Foundation’s Seniors for Seniors program which pairs senior cats with senior humans and pays for the animal’s medical needs.
