All For Animals #79: Preserving Families In Times Of Crisis

The Preserving Families In Times Of Crisis program is a collaboration between three New York City non-profits: PAWSNY, Animal Haven Shelter and Search & Care, to help senior and other vulnerable New Yorkers care for their pets in the event of an emergency, including pre-planning. It’s made possible thanks to a 3 year, $400,000 grant from PetSmart Charities.

All For Animals talks to PAWSNY Executive Director Rachel Herman about how the program works and how the public can help sustain and grow it long-term.
