AFA Extra: GoFundMe Raises Money For FDNY-EMS Brooklyn Mascot

Update:  Killer had surgery to remove her spleen, but the cancer was too advanced and Killer passed away peacefully at the home of EMT Nancy Gwillym.  The news garnered an outpouring of condolences on social media.

This was Susan’s update on 1010 WINS:

AFA Host (and 1010 WINS News Anchor) Susan Richard reports on Killer the Cat, the mascot of FDNY EMS Station house 57 in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, who was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on her spleen.

This video and audio interview (with caretaker Nancy Gwillym) were part of my coverage for 1010 WINS and 1010wins.com.  Check out the full story HERE.
