MADDIE’S PET ADOPTION DAYS 2014

All For Animals stopped by Maddie’s Pet Adoption Days Mega Event in Union Square Park, NYC. On May 31 and June 1, 2014, The Maddie’s Fund paid the adoption fee for qualified adopters for dogs, cats and rabbits available from dozens of participating organizations that are part of the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals. The rescue groups received $500 for healthy animals, $1,000 for senior and special needs pets and $2,000 for elderly animals that also have a special need. The Mayor’s Alliance reports more than 5,500 animals were adopted throughout the NYC Metro area over the two days in conjunction with this event.

The Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals reports that more than 5,500 shelter pets were adopted during this special weekend in which The Maddie’s Fund paid the fees for qualified adopters.  That included $500 for each animal, $1,000 for senior pets and those with special needs, and $2,000 for a senior pet with a special need.
